Chico is located in the Northern Sacramento Valley of California about ninety miles north of Sacramento, east of Interstate 5. Chico has a cute historic downtown and family oriented neighborhoods. Chico is home to Chico State University and Bidwell Park, one of the largest municipally owned parks in the nation. Bidwell Park offers numerous trails for biking, hiking, and equestrian use.
